Picnic FAQs

Here are some frequently asked questions about our luxurious picnics. Don't see what you are looking for? Shoot us an email or a text and we will respond as fast as humanely possible!

Your event will be ready and on time for you, every time. We kindly ask that you arrive to your event at the scheduled start time or be communicative with us if you are running late. Sometimes staff may need to get to the next event and any delays will greatly impact us. If you are late, we cannot extend the time of your event, unfortunately.

Permits: Some public locations require permits. Most beaches will need a permit. We abide by all the rules of every city and county we hold events under. 

​

Please be aware that many public areas do not allow alcoholic beverages. We kindly ask you to abide by these laws.

​

You are responsible to stay with the picnic items until staff arrive at the scheduled end time. If an emergency arises, we kindly ask that you notify us when able to and suggest that you have someone stay with the items until staff arrive. The responsible person for the event is liable for all items.

​

All picnics must conclude 30 minutes prior to sunset to allow for adequate clean up time. You may choose the sunset option as part of your package, to be included in the allotted time frame. If sunset option is chosen, the picnic will conclude immediately following sunset.

 

We ask that you do not light the candles. They are for decorative purposes only. If you have a sunset picnic, we will discuss LED decorative candles and other lighting options with you.​

For Picnics, we ask that any guest over the age of 3 (4 years old and up) has their own place setting. If there will be multiple children 3 and younger at a picnic/event, please discuss with us.

​

Extra time may definitely be available for your party/picnic. We will try extremely hard to accommodate your request for this, but you should let us know upon booking or as soon as possible. Please refer to add-ons for fee schedule.

You get to pick the colors for the picnics.  If you don't see a specific color/color scheme you were hoping for, be sure to check our Coming Soon page here. We have add-ons available that we like to call "experience enhancers." This may allow you to get closer to the experience you desire. You are also welcome to bring your own décor/decorations. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate individual requests at this time.

We use scented and unscented candles in our picnic set ups. We try to be sensitive to those who have allergies and sensitivities.  If you still prefer scented, please let us know upon booking and we can try to accommodate you if we have the inventory. We also suggest adding fresh flowers as a beautiful alternative! The candles are for decoration purposes only. We also ask that you do not light the candles as they are a fire hazard and are for decoration purposes only.

Your event will look similar to the agreed up on theme and similar to the photos. All picnic will vary slightly due to availability of inventory and color accent. If there is something you are definitely expecting in your picnic other than any add-ons already discussed, please let us know upon booking. Any requests after booking may not be able to be honored due to time constraints.

If you need to leave early due to any circumstances, we kindly ask for you to contact us as soon as you are aware you need to leave early. You are still responsible for the picnic set up until the agreed upon ending time so it is best to give us some time to arrange to pick up the items early. This is not always possible and we suggest you have someone stay with the items until we able to arrive. There are also no refunds in any case.

In our contract it will state that if the weather forecast calls for rain greater than 30%, we reserve the right to postpone the picnic. We are the party that will decide if the picnic will be postposed or still held, since we are the ones taking the risk with our supplies. We will let you know the morning or night prior but we highly encourage you to keep an eye on the weather leading up to the event, so you have an idea of what to expect. We highly suggest having a backup, indoor option available. But if not, you are able to schedule another day and time that is available in the following 60 days from that day. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds so please keep this in mind when booking. This will all be in the contract provided.
